A multihead weigher is an equipment used to weigh and dose products accurately and efficiently. It is especially useful in the food industry for agricultural products, cheeses in various states, fresh and frozen meats and fish, pre-cooked foods, pet foods, candies, treats, etc.

The Multihead Weigher checks the amount of product in each hopper and, using the algorithm designed by EXAKTApack, combines the weight of the product from several of them to discharge the exact amount of product that is programmed. This product can be unloaded directly onto a Horizontal or Vertical Doypack packaging machine, or onto a conveyor belt that will take it to the packaging machine.

While a download is taking place, the algorithm is already calculating and combining weight for a new download, in this way it is optimized and achieves high production.
